Songs for a New World weaves characters and history together, illuminating the timelessness of self-discovery. The first musical from Tony Award winner, Jason Robert Brown (Parade, Bridges of Madison County), this moving collection of powerful songs examines life, love and the choices that we make.
Under the direction of Autumn Smith and musical direction by Teri Dunn, the Canadian Children’s Opera Company’s talented Youth Chorus face these profound moments of decision in Brown’s compelling score.
Suitable for ages 12 and up. Contains some mature content and language. The piece runs for approximately 90 minutes with no intermission.
Seating is general admission.
